Hello Beautiful People,
“Some days you just have to create your own sunshine”
I am going to start doing a segment where each month I find something new and worthwhile to tell you about the possibly inspire you, so enjoy!
Carousell App
My friend introduces this app to me and it the most convenience app to sell or buy a new or secondhand item. Think of it as a marketplace and you can find anything from clothes to furniture and anything in between. It is similar to eBay or gumtree but I find it more convenient and accessible. I manage to sell a few clothing items which are great when clearing out my wardrobe and knowing it will be used again. Check my “store ” on Carousell.

2017 Diary
In my definition the holy bible! I’m old schooled and I need to write everything down to become organise. I love the arrangement of the Kikki-K diary and how you get some cute stickers and a quote at the end of each page!
Farmer Markets
For some reason, I get overly excited over farmer markets and it is one of my favourite places to go and buy local and fresh products. I love the concept of supporting local business and the surrounding area. My recent finds were from the Perth City Farm, a gorgeous mud mask and a jar of passionfruit butter and chilli jam.
Book- The Kindness of Stranger, Tale of Fate and Fortune on the Road (Lonely Planet)
A book I’ve picked up from the local book store which shares stories from a range of travellers and how they encounter kindness along the way. I’m halfway through reading the book and it’s one of those “good feels” book or a reminder there is still humanity out there in the world.
Swarovski Alpha Bangle
I found this bangle during the Boxing Day sales but technically I didn’t get it delivered till January. I love how it’s a simple bangle that goes with everyday wear and it matches with my watch, bonus!
Appreciation for the beach life
It is my first time in three years that I’m back to experiencing Perth’s summer. Summer in Perth may not be the best experience but the beach life in the summer is something I really look forward to. Thankfully Perth is not as hot compared to pervious years but I always feel so grateful how the beaches are crystal clear. Naturally, I took advantage of the beach and learnt how to appreciate the moment. So find something you really enjoy and appreciate the small things is life.
That’s a wrap of my January finds.
Till next time, -M
